Who we are

This website is operated by the Stop The Triple Lock campaign ("we", "us", "our"). This policy explains what personal data we collect through stopthetriplelock.com, how we use it, and the choices you have. This page is maintained by the campaign and is not an independent certification or audit of our practices.

If you have any questions about this policy or your data, contact us at contact@stopthetriplelock.com.

What we collect

  • Mailing list sign-ups. If you enter your email address in the sign-up form, we store that email address along with the date you signed up and a note of which page it came from.
  • Emails you send us. If you email the campaign, we hold the contents of your message and your email address so we can reply.
  • Basic technical data. Our hosting and backend providers process standard request data such as IP address, browser type and timestamps in order to serve the site securely.

We do not ask for or knowingly collect special category data, payment details, or information from children.

How we use your data

  • To send you campaign updates and calls to action, if you have signed up.
  • To respond to messages you send us.
  • To keep the website working, secure, and free from abuse.
  • To understand, in aggregate, which parts of the campaign resonate.

We rely on your consent for campaign emails, and on our legitimate interest in running a secure, functioning website for basic technical data. We never sell your data, and we do not share it with advertisers.

Who processes it for us

We use third-party service providers to host the website and store the mailing list database on our behalf. They process the data only to provide those services to us, and under their own security and confidentiality terms. We do not publish or share the mailing list with any campaign partner without telling you first.

How long we keep it

We keep mailing list email addresses until you ask us to remove you, or until the campaign ends and the list is deleted. Correspondence is kept only as long as needed to deal with the matter it relates to.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, object to how we use it, or withdraw your consent to campaign emails at any time. Email contact@stopthetriplelock.com and we will action it. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

Cookies

See our Cookie Policy for details of what is stored in your browser when you visit this site.

We may update this policy as the campaign develops. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised.
